Volunteer Firefighters support many prevention, public education and community events. They also respond to fire scenes in a support role with AIR10, a truck equipped to provide on-scene air-bottle refills, supplemental lighting and firefighter rehabilitation.
Weekly drills are held on Wednesday evenings. Other educational opportunities and drills are available to volunteers as well.
Entry-level volunteer firefighters must be U.S. citizens age 18 or older with a Washington state drivers license and a good driving record. Residency within our service area is preferred. The service area includes unincorporated areas of south Snohomish County as well as the cities of Brier, Edmonds, Lynnwood and Mountlake Terrace.
